About Mikey

Mikey Schlifske, is a 2023 graduate of Brookfield East High School. While attending school there, he earned his certificate in Digital Arts from WCTC.  He thanks his Brookfield East teachers, Vicky Molitor and Rachel Broge, for teaching and inspiring him to pursue a career in the digital arts.

Through a Journey21 internship with Elmbrook School District, Mikey has become the voice of Elmbrook Schools this 2023-2024 school year with his “Mikey’s Minute” video series. Mikey develops, films, and produces all of his “Mikey’s Minute” videos and covers a wide range of topics from Brookfield East’s Blue Ribbon School award, to Dixon Elementary’s book vending machine. Also, a spin -off series titled “Mikey’s Moments” highlights celebrations from schools across the District. 

 In his latest video production endeavors, “Mikey’s Journey Show” Mikey represents Journey21 as he explores the Oconomowoc Community and Journey21’s amazing partnerships.

Mikey visits with our Community Partner Nx Level Sports Performance and Brad Arnett and takes a deep dive into the fitness training that our Learning Academies participate in every Wednesday morning.
